Discovering you are pregnant is one of the most exciting moments of your life. However, maintaining your fitness and health routine and preparing your body for birth can be a little confusing. Pregnancy Yoga is the perfect way to feel toned and relaxed during your pregnancy, to connect and share with other mums-to-be and to feel supported during your pregnancy journey. 

Pregnancy yoga works to release deep tensions, enabling you to feel your best as your baby grows and your body changes. 

Classes will also develop your 

• Strength, confidence, flexibility and most importantly a deep and loving connection to your baby

• Breathing techniques – useful during labour 

• Cardiovascular fitness 

• Conditioning to tone and avoid excess weight gain 

• Improve flexibility – especially hip opening 

• Strengthens your pelvic floor and postural alignment to alleviate backache 

• Practise postures that are useful during labour and birth 

• Deep relaxation and meditation techniques 

• Pregnancy Partner Yoga Workshops, whereby partners can learn how best to support their partners in labour  

Please ensure, if you are new to yoga, that you have had the all clear from your 12 week scan from the midwife/doctor before commencing your pregnancy yoga sessions.
